A great opportunity for you!

Hey, you guys!

So happy you stopped by, because I have something really cool to share with you.
As you know, I'm so proud to be writing for the most respected publishers in the CBA. In addition to the awesome fiction line that I’m part of, Abingdon Press (link to: http://www.abingdonpress.com/) is one of the publishers involved in the new release, The Common English Bible New Testament. The cool thing is that it’s not a revision or an update of an existing translation; it’s a bold new translation designed specifically for Christians who desire to dig deeper into the New Testament. It’s written at a comfortable level for over half of all English readers. I think anything that brings a heart for Jesus closer to Him through understanding of His word … Well, that’s something I can really get behind.

Common English Bible New Testament
This week, you can go to Amazon (link to: http://www.amazon.com/CEB-New-Testament-ebook/dp/B0043D2DO6/ref=pd_ts_kinc-f_62?ie=UTF8&s=digital-text) for a FREE DOWNLOAD. But if you would like to have a hard copy of this amazing book, I’ve cooked up a little giveaway with two of my fellow Abingdon authors, Sandie Bricker (link to: http://sandradbricker.blogspot.com/) and Christa Allan (link to: http://christaallan.com/blog/).

Here are the simple rules:

Post a comment on one (or all!) of our blog posts about the contest telling us your favorite scripture verse and why (in just a few sentences). At the end of October, we’ll each choose one winner at random. That winner will win an autographed copy of our latest novel AND a copy of Abingdon’s Common English Bible New Testament.

BONUS BONUS BONUS! If that winner has also posted a review of one of our novels on Christian Book Distributors’ site (link to: http://www.christianbook.com/fiction), they will receive A SECOND COPY of this innovative Bible to give away to a friend. Perhaps as a Christmas gift????

It’s that simple for you to own your very own copy of The CEB New Testament. So let’s hear it! What’s your life verse of scripture, and why??

Blessings on your week,
Loree

Loree,
Hi. I thought that I had left a comment, but I forgot to add a favorite verse. I love Lamentations 3:22-24 because every new day is a new clean slate for us. God is so merciful. "Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because Hi compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion says my soul, therefore I hope in Him".

I have so many favorite scriptures, it will be hard to choose just one. But I'll go with Psalm 91

"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust."

The safest place to be in resting in the will of God. No matter what my circumstances are, I know that I can find rest and peace with Him. He is always with me, and He will never leave me.

Thank you for the giveaway, Loree!

Blessings,
Michelle

I Corinthians 5:17 says it all for me: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
Thanks for the giveaway!

"For with God nothing will be impossible." ~ Luke 1:37

To me this says it all - God can do anything if we will believe in HIm & leave it all in His mighty hands.

My favorite bible is Phil. 4:13-- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I love this verse because I believe if you put God FIRST in your life, everything else will fall into place.

Please enter me in the giveaway!
I would love to receive this version of the Bible to send to send overseas through Christian Book Distributors.

My favorite life verse is Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
This verse convinces me that I can't, but with Christ's strength, I can!!!

Hey you guys! Just a quick heads up to let you know I've put all of your names in my favorite Orioles baseball cap. (What can I say...I'm loyal to a fault! LOL)

Before my darlin' Cash died (a month ago today), I'd scatter the entry slips on the floor in my office, then say, "Okay, sweet boy, pick one!" Then he'd give me a big doggy grin and plop a big paw on one of 'em, and voila! I'd have my winner!

Now that I don't have my clumsy helper, I need to come up with a new method. Soon as I do, I'll let you know.

Meanwhile, keep sending in those entries. And don't forget to write a review at http://www.christianbook.com/fiction to qualify for one of my titles ... and a second bible that you can give away as a gift!

Have a terrific Tuesday,
Loree
